Thai Mahal – historic symbol of love and the finest example of Mughal architecture, In 1983, the Taj Mahal became a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was cited as "the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage."

The Taj Mahal Agra is a vivid poetry in Marble. Built by Shahjahan, the fifth Mughal ruler of India in 1631 AD, the mausoleum is a tribute to his second wife, advisor and soulmate, Mumtaz Mahal.

Fulfilling her wish to create an unforgettable monument in memory of their love for each other; Shahjahan organised an international competition for finalising the design of the desired structure, which took the shape of Tajmahal, Agra after construction. Made by 28 rare, semi precious and precious stones, the Taj Mahal in Agra India was designed by Ustad Ahmad Lahauri. It was erected in 22 years by the hard labour of about 20,000 craftsmen.
It is believed that in her deathbed she extracted from Shah Jahan a promise to build her a mausoleum unparalleled in beauty and magnificence. The Emperor, irreconcilable in his grief, went on to build one of the greatest wonders of the world.
